Dr.Vishnuvardhan’s 200th movie Aaptha Rakshaka, which is breaking all the records of Sandalwood is reportedly being remade in Tamil with Rajinikanth in the lead. It is a sequel to Chandramukhi.

Now director P.Vasu is planning to do the Telugu version with Mega star Chiranjeevi. Chiru wants to make a great comeback, so this will be tailor-made script for him. Buzz up! Earlier, Vasu remade Apthamitra in Tamil and Telugu as Chandramukhi. But Telugu version failed to impress the audience. So he has decided to go with Rajinikanth in Tamil and Chiranjeevi in Telugu.

Aaptha Rakshaka, which was released last month, has earned a record breaking collection in Sandalwood history. Few reports say that it has earned whooping 6 crores in just three weeks. 

Aaptha Rakshaka is all about unraveling the mystery of Nagavalli. Late Dr. Vishnuvardhan’s performance is the main highlight of the film. Gurukiran’s music, punch dialogues, Komal’s comedy, beautiful locations, cinematography, costume and art are the other highlights of the movie.

Atithi Tum Kab Jaoge

Mumbai, Feb 27 – There is no romantic angle to the movie ‘Atithi Tum Kab Jaoge,’ award-winning actress Konkona Sen Sharma says about her new film.

‘Though Ajay and I play the role of a married couple in the film, there is no romantic angle; it’s about the comedy that happens while trying to get relief from a person who comes as a guest and shows no signs of leaving,’ said Konkona after the music launch of ‘Atithi Tum Kab Jaoge?’ here.

The film revolves around the story of Puneet (Ajay Devgn) and Munmun (Konkona Sen Sharma), a happily married couple living in Mumbai. Their life takes a turn when a distant relative Chachaji (Paresh Rawal) turns up unannounced at their doorstep from a far-off village.

The chaos that follows makes it a rib tickling comedy where the agonised couple tries various methods to get rid of him but fails time and again. The film was released Friday.

Ajay Devgn was all praise for Konkona’s performance and maintained that it’s always a pleasure working with a commendable actor.

‘It was a great experience working with Konkona. When you act with a very good actor, it becomes a fantastic experience. People think that when we work, we compete with each other but if the other person works well, then only can you work better because filmmaking is teamwork,’ said Ajay.
